JEC Costa Blanca - Fun Day

The meeting of the JEC on Sunday 25^th September 2011 at Restaurant Los Almendros in Torrellano was a great turnout. Great food, fabulous cars and fantastic weather. We held two competitions during the event, a best engine competition, the shiniest, cleanest and generally the best looking engine compartment on show, the winners were presented with a certificate acknowledging the Best Engine of Show. The second event was a driving skills / accuracy competition. Again, the winners were presented with a certificate acknowledging that he or she is An Accomplished Driver.

Los Almendros in Torrellano is really easy to find, head for Alicante Airport, for those of you coming from the North or off the A7, take the airport exit, just before the airport, you will see signs for Torrellano and Recinto Ferial, take that exit then follow signs to Torrellano, the restaurant is on the left just before Torrellano. For those of you coming from the direction of Torrevieja (N332), follow the signs to the airport, stay on the main road past the airport then take the next exit Torrellano and Alicante South, follow signs to Torrellano and as before you will see the restaurant on the left.
