Browsers

This site is designed with modern browsers in mind and has been tested with the market leaders, like IE9, Google Chrome 11.0.696.77, Firefox 4.0, Safari etc. In all cases, we recommend that your browser is up-to-date for your particular Operating System, whether Windows 7, XP, Linux or MAC OSX.

The site is 1000px wide to cater for Netbooks and above, but has been tested with other, mobile platforms like Tablets, Pads and Mobile Phones.

For data intensive applications involving PDFs, we recommend Google Chrome with the PDF plug-in. Adobe Reader is a fine application, but is slower to load and seems to need regular updates.

For those of you using devices with limited display area, there some things you can do to make the viewing experience better. Most browsers allow you to zoom the display, by holding down the key (usually at bottom left on your keyboard) and pressing - (minus) or + (plus) to zoom out and in. Using and 0 (zero) will reset the display to normal. Not all browsers are perfect in this regard, but it may prove useful. Also, pressing will push the display to full screen presentation (press again to return to normal).
