Won't Start 1994 XJS, I think it's an error in the Alarm System. If I loch the doors by hand I can remotely unlock them but starter will not engauge (Starter is OK) If I try to lock remotely I get three short beeps, then nothing. Tried cure listed in book, no help

1953 Jaguar XK120 was fully restored. It got hit in the rear, and would not restart. The rear tires are locked in place, or seem to be. Is it safe to assume that the transmission is locked, therefore not allowing the clutch to disengage therefore not allowing it to start...please help!

I occasionally experience the Gearbox Fault warning light on my 1998 XJ8 which locks the transmission into a higher gear. Turn off the ignition and re-start and the problem goes away. This is an intermittant fault, 3 times in the past 6 months. What is the cause of the fault??

1982 v12 starts and runs for a few minutes and then shuts down. Have replace dist cap and rotor, ignition coils, fuel filter, wires and all fuses as well as cleaning fuel pump and filter. all is no help problem persists. any suggestions will be respectfully recieved

I'm installing a headlinig in a 1957 Jaguar. The front and rear glass are already installed, and it looks like the headliner needs to be tucked under the rubber. Is this so? Does the glass need toicome out and the fabric glued to to the metal lip where the window rubber fits?

I own a Jag XJ 8 2000, door locking is stuck in the Valet mode and I am unable to disengage it, hence am unable to use the remote door opener. 1998 XJ8- 50,000 miles. After running for a few miles, somtimes more than 30 miles, an amber alert error signal "ENGINE IN FAIL SAFE MODE" comes on. The cruise control becomes inoperative but everything else performs well.
Any thoughts?

My '98 XJ6L's rear portion off the headliner is seperating and beginning to sag. There is no water damage. I was told the car may have come from a hot climate, that the heat may have caused the material to seperate from the backing and sag. Has anyone else had this problem? What's the best way to fix it?

I have a 1992 Jag xj6 sovereign and the a/c doesn't blow hard like it is supposed to plus it has a refrigerant leak somewhere. How do I replace the blower and how do i get to it. Also, there is a coolant leak, the light comes on even when it is full although the temperature guage doesn't go up.
