I have been the owner of a XJ6 Daimler for the past 8 years, but unfortunately has only been on the road for about a year in that time. I have spent the rest of that time restoring her by myself, eg Bodywork, Engine, interior, and are proud of what I have achieved, nice to be able to tell someone, nice to have found others with the same enthusiasm.

Hi all. I own a ’85 XJS-C and love it. I found a great web site for good info on the car. It’s at www.jag-lovers.org In the jag information section is "XJS, Experience in a Book". It’s an online book of about 350 pages of hints, tips and tricks which will save you Loadsadosh on solving those XJS problems, just download the section you need. For example I saved cash and time on how to replace the heater matrix without dismantling the entire dashboard. Good tips on modifications too, A/C, steering rack bushes etc. Well worth a visit. Bye for now and Happy Motoring to all.
[webman: - The Jag-lovers site is well resourced, and long established. I heartily endorse Kirby Palm's book to anyone who owns an XJ-S ]

Jill & David have an E-type Jag Roadster Series II 1970. Very dark blue in original condition. We don’t take it out very much as it can be a tad unreliable and also a bit scared of leaving it parked alone. However we hope to take it to Eire soon because we believe the roads and people will leave it relatively unmolested! Anyone else taken their car away for holidays/short breaks. We would welcome more info. Cheers for now! Plus are there any more lady drivers who hate their hair getting into a mess? Any ideas?
