I'm a French film student at the London International Film School.
HELP!
I need for a short student film a CLASSIC JAGUAR for one day of shooting on 28th of June in London.
The film shows a man washing his Jaguar, singing "Love me tender" to it. During the film, the car is parked in a garage driveway. Therefore, NOBODY other than the owner will drive the car. I will of course pay for all expenses but apart from that, I do not have much of a budget. However, I am prepared to work for anyone who will provide some help, eg I can do some pictures of the owner's car. Waiting for an answer.

I don’t see any regions for USA. Did I miss them? Also, does your insurance coverage apply to USA cars?
[Webman: Sadly no! There are many JEC members in the USA but currently no regional clubs. Insurance cover is limited to cars registered in the UK]

When I was in the Royal Canadian Air Force stationed in Germany in 1968. I ordered a new Jaguar from England. I requested that the car be painted at the factory a FORD colour called "EMBERGLOW." It was delivered to me in Germany and when I was transferred to Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, I shipped it with me. That was in 1970. The car was an XKE - Roadster. I sold the Jaguar to a Lieutenant Rob Dunlop in Chatham. He contacted me several years later while I was stationed at National Defense Headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario. He told me he was having the car restored in Quebec City. I then lost track of him and the car. His most recent rank was Major Dunlop. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Rob or the car, please e-mail me. Thanks. Chief Warrant Officer Dean Fitzsimmons, Retired.

We are desperate!!!! We Love the Jag(1990 XJ6) but we would like to meet the chief engineer and wring his neck!!! This is our first Jag and we are torn between the wonderful feel and handling qualities and the irritating electrical problems.... Specifically the heating system. Apparently there is a shutter system that switches cold and hot air, I have a suspicion that this is a common problem. We have had the system looked at twice in the past year and both times the shutter mechanism has been replaced.... to no avail!! Perhaps the one comfort is all this is that the Air con. fails in winter and the heating system in summer. We have heat going into the back but non up to the windshield and front vents. Before we take it in again, could anyone give us any info.?, as I say we suspect this might be a common problem. Thanks Terry and Gillian.(Jag lovers for ever.......almost.)
