What can I say? I bought a series3 sovereign (84 and 86) for myself AND my wife (only way I could get one to myself!). Sure, they are quite expensive to keep in really good running order, but its worth it

I currently have a 1977 XJC 4.2 and am slowly completing a total body off restoration of a 1958 XK150S OTS. My first Jaguar was a 1936 SS1 which I owned back in 1955. I have had many more over the years and have loved them all dearly!

Webman, A while back you offered some advice (I was attempting to choose between an ’82 XJ6 and a Volvo estate....) Well, I bought both! And am having great fun. Well, except for the black smoke coming out of the Jag’s exhaust and a minor electrical problem. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and will keep checking back to see where guests are from. Cheers, K

jaguar series 1 xj12l June 1973 just acquired EFM 650L in sable, if any one knows any history of this car please do contact me. I traded in my Daimler series2 it had severe rust, what an amazing car, would like to hear from any other owners of this particular model, need to find somebody in London who can do headlining and minor leather work. also a hand book would be useful and perhaps some general guidance on the cabin controls air con etc. keep up the good work.

Comment 1: I am using Netscape 4.0 as a browser. Comment II: I do not own a Jag, but it is on my list of things to accomplish, and very soon. I am interested in the XJS and XJ6 line of cars, and am looking for one to restore. Anyway, I saw this web page and decided to sign the guest book and hopefully join a group of Jag lovers. Tony

My 1989 XJ40 3.6 at present has 205455 miles on the clock, it runs like a dream and has not used a drop of oil between servicings. It starts perfectly and everything electric and mechanical still operates as new, to say I am impressed would be an understatement
[Webman - is this a Jaguar XJ40? Seriously, lucky man!]

H E L P !!! I was offered to buy a E-type from either 62 or 72 with a 12-cyl engine. It has been restored for two years and only needs the painting. The price? £5.000 ($7.000). I think that is cheap, almost free... but - should I accept, did the -62 have 12 cylinder engines? Tell me soon! I want to buy that car as soon as possible, but need to know more about it. Since 1995 I have a 420G, but that is in a class for itself so I need lots of help with this E-type. Thanks in advance!
[Webman - The V12 was introduced in 1971 with the Series 3 E-Type. If it's a 1972 in running condition, don't tell anyone!]
