X-300 Saloons - 28th March
In March we have another new seminar, on the Jaguar X-300 saloons (1994 to 1997 XJ6, XJ12 and Daimler equivalents). This Seminar is entirely dedicated to these models, some would say the most reliable and economical to run of all recent Jaguar saloons.

The usual format will follow including a brief resume of the model range and how the cars changed over the years, a buyers guide and then straight into the aspects of regular maintenance, points to watch and more involved issues of TLC. We will have examples of different models on display as well as parts and loads of information for you.

This is a Seminar to appeal to current owners of X-300 saloons or those contemplating buying one. They represent absolutely superb value of money now and can make exceptionally good cars for long-term ownership. This is your opportunity to hear more about the cars, meet with fellow enthusiasts with the same interests as yourselves and good food and camaraderie as well.

X-300 owners and those wishing to buy one, this is your turn for a special Seminar on these models, pre-book now.

Mark 2 Saloons - 18th April
Yes it's the 50th anniversary of the Mark 2 this year and we promised you a bespoke Seminar on these models and now we can release the details.

As usual Castle Bromwich is the venue and the format of the day will be - A brief look at the background of the Mark 2 starting with the 1955 2.4 litre saloon leading up to the end of production and the last cars (Daimler V8-250s). We will cover a quick reference guide to changes over the years, what to look for when buying one and the pitfalls and benefits. We will give you tips on the best models, performance, economy, prices, etc. and even look at modifications that are carried out to these cars to make them more acceptable in today's very different driving environment.

On the technical side a look at basic servicing and other maintenance but more in-depth matters specially relating to these models, all the information coming from our established technical experts. We also hope to have examples of the marque on display.

To encompass a wide appeal to this Seminar we will also be including the Jaguar S-type saloons (from 1963 to 1968), the 420s from 1966 to 1969) and, of course the Daimler V8 models based on the Mark 2.

This will prove an excellent day out covering a very important range of Jaguar saloons, now coming back into favour after being in the shadows for many years. Don't miss it as this represents the start of our 50th celebrations for the Mark 2 this year.

As with all our Seminars, the prices include detailed handouts and refreshments throughout the day. It is essential to pre-book, so use the pre-booking form provided and return to me in Doncaster as soon as possible.

You can also email me with the relevant information for booking or just telephone us on 01302 771818 to make your reservation.

It's the year of the Mark 2 and what better to start off than with a comprehensive Seminar on the cars.

Other models with a common heritage, like the S-Type, 420 and the Daimler 420 Sovereign and V8s will also be covered.
