XK150 stolen

***1960 Jaguar XK150 stolen!***

The passion for the Jaguar marque sometimes goes far. At moments even beyond the line that people are prepared to steal one. That this tragic fate has occurred to me, I will explain as follows. I beg you to be so kind to reserve some attention and space on your site or in your publication for it.

My planned holidays in my beautiful and trusty white Jaguar XK150 fixed head coupe has been broken off in a baffling way. The trip had only just begun, at the first stop for coffee in the picturesque little town of Thorn, while drinking a cup of coffee, my pride of ownership with luggage and personal belongings, tools and spareparts, has been stolen. In the free circulation of the EU the car will very probably disappear abroad, hence this request.

I beg all Jaguar owners, who will read this, to be alert. Firstly to avoid that this stroke of bad luck will hit them as well, secondly to look out for this white XK150 with Dutch registration number AM-60-72 and chassis number S836964DN. If you have spotted it or see something that arouses your suspicion regarding this, please inform your Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club or the police.

For the thieves, who maybe will read this too, I have a suggestion: At home I have a set of carburettor needles on which the engine will run much better!

Yours sincerely

Matthieu Loogman
