Welcome to the XJS Forum of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club!

Within the JEC, we use the word "Forum" not to represent a Bulletin Board, or a website.

It's much more than that. We use the word Forum to mean the way that we use all the resources, services, facilities and expertise of the Club to support those members with a specific interest in a particular model.

The diary on the right shows Club and external events, which may be of particular interest to XJS enthusiasts.  The full Club Diary is accessible from the website Home page.

Browse the XJS Forum pages using the menu above and also see what's in the MemberZone section accessible from the Home Page. Visit the Bulletin Board and 'meet' your fellow enthusiasts!

Much as we love our XJSs, we all know that they can succumb to the dreaded rust.  One of the known problem areas is the windscreen flange, the first sign of trouble often being a small bubble of rust visible on the rear edge of the scuttle by the windscreen chromes.  Coupes are prone to suffer than Convertibles, but no model is immune.   Water finds a way to get under the edge of the screen, through the glass sealing bed (which could be 20+ years old!) and slowly starts to rot out the windscreen flange, the corrosion eventually working its way unseen out to the surrounding panels.

We'll be doing an article in the magazine soon, but thought we'd just show you here, the "iceberg syndrome"  - ie that most of the problem is hidden, and by the time you see the first sign of it, there's a lot more bad news to follow!  So don't leave that little rust bubble on the scuttle, it's trying to tell you something!
